> Deploy MINDBLIX to production with Docker, Kubernetes, or our managed cloud platform.

## Deployment Options

> **Managed Cloud**
>
> Zero-ops deployment. We handle infrastructure, scaling, and updates.

> **Self-Hosted**
>
> Deploy on your own infrastructure for maximum control and data residency compliance.

> **Hybrid**

## Docker Deployment

The fastest way to self-host MINDBLIX:

```bash theme={null}
# Pull the latest images
docker pull mindblix/backend:latest
docker pull mindblix/dashboard:latest
# Start with docker-compose
docker-compose up -d
```

### docker-compose.yml

```yaml theme={null}
version: '3.8'
services:
  backend:
    image: mindblix/backend:latest
    ports:
      - "8000:8000"
    environment:
      - DATABASE_URL=postgresql://user:pass@db:5432/mindblix
      - GEMINI_API_KEY=${GEMINI_API_KEY}
      - JWT_SECRET=${JWT_SECRET}
    depends_on:
      - db
      - redis
  dashboard:
    image: mindblix/dashboard:latest
    ports:
      - "3000:3000"
    environment:
      - NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://backend:8000
  db:
    image: postgres:16
    volumes:
      - pgdata:/var/lib/postgresql/data
    environment:
      - POSTGRES_DB=mindblix
      - POSTGRES_USER=user
      - POSTGRES_PASSWORD=pass
  redis:
    image: redis:7-alpine
volumes:
## Production Checklist
**1. Set strong secrets**
Generate cryptographic random values for `JWT_SECRET` and database passwords.
**2. Enable HTTPS**
Use a reverse proxy (Nginx, Caddy) with SSL certificates.
**3. Configure backup**
Set up automated PostgreSQL backups.
**4. Monitor health**
Configure health check endpoints and alerting.
**5. Rate limiting**
Enable API rate limiting to prevent abuse.
> [!WARNING]
>
> Never expose your backend directly to the internet without a reverse proxy and proper authentication.
